The space of the Visitor Center The Drava Story is also adapted for visitors with disabilities and reduced mobility. The Visitor Center has built-in lifting platforms that allow access to all the facilities of the Center. The educational trail in the park is paved with wooden forms, thus enabling an undisturbed tour and getting to know all the contents of the park.
There are 10 info educational boards about 27 protected species of trees and shrubs in the park, and for visually impaired and blind people, an additional board in Braille has been placed on to the each board. Also, in the part of the park where the Garden of Fragrant Experiences is located, there are 21 info educational boards (flowers and medicinal and aromatic herbs) with an appendix in Braille.
In the premises of the Visitor Center The Drava Story, a sanitary facility (on the ground floor) has been adapted for the needs of the persons with disabilities and reduced mobility.
The employees of the Public Institution for the Management of Protected Parts of Nature and the Ecological Network of VPC were trained for the needs of performing all offered programs as well as assistance to persons with disabilities.
