At the Visitor Centre The Drava Story, managed by the Public Institution for Management of Protected Parts of Nature and the Ecological Network of Virovitica Podravina County in Noskovci, the 7th Winter Camp (Bivouac) of the Darko Tivanovac Scout Unit from Valpovo was held from January 4th to 6th, 2024.
In addition to the planned activities led by the scout unit leaders (the Dario Turkalj Memorial, basic field orientation, ring weaving, organizing quipus—scout notebooks, making a pagoda, knot-tying workshop, building a campfire, scout games and songs, and the significance and conduct of vow and promise ceremonies), the camp's rich program was enhanced by tours of the park's features and multimedia presentations at the Dravska Priča Visitor Center, as well as presentations on marsh and red-eared turtles, and the use of camera traps by the Public Institution's staff.
