During the implementation of the project Visitor Center The Drava Story - an interactive, innovative and accessible to all experience of the nature, KK.06.1.2.02.0017, the Public Institution additionally equipped a bio research station in the basement of the building.

The bio research station was formed in 2015, when through the IPA CBC HU-HR project Three Rivers = One Aim, its arrangement began. The equipping was continued in 2017 with the purchase of additional equipment through the Drava Life project, when the implementation of the first programs of schools in nature and field classes for students began.

With the project The Visitor Center The Drava Story - an interactive, innovative and accessible to all experience of nature, the bio research station was expanded and fully equipped in cooperation with the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science from Osijek.
