Yesterday, May 16, 2026, as part of the project "Sopje – Child, Play, and Nature", the Visitor Centre The Drava Story was visited by children from the Bambi Kindergarten Sopje, accompanied by their director, Zrinko Grgić. During the visit, they were introduced to the features and exhibits of the Visitor Centre The Drava Story, attended the "Way of the White Stork" presentation, and toured the Drava Life Educational Trail under the professional guidance of the staff of the Public Institution for the Management of Protected Parts of Nature and the Ecological Network of Virovitica Podravina County.

The project aims to enhance children's cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development through a blend of science, art, culture, and health. It encompasses activities designed to foster children's creativity and curiosity, promote healthy eating habits and an active lifestyle, and teach them how to preserve natural and cultural heritage.
