At the Visitor Center The Drava Story by the Public Institution for Management of Protected Parts of Nature and the Ecological Network of Virovitica Podravina County in Noskovci, the Winter Camp of the Scout Club Javor from Osijek was held from 23rd to 25th February 2024.
In addition to the planned activities led by scout leaders (use of pioneering tools, creation of scout messages, building a campfire, recreational activities, cultural and entertainment program "Night of Scout Advertising," educational program "World of Scouts on the World Map," activity "For a Healthy Sleep, Let's Go Outside," and workshop "Adventures and Misadventures of My Family"), the winter camp program was enhanced with bicycle rides through protected nature areas along the Drava River, tours and introduction to the exhibits at the Visitor Center Dravska Priča, and a presentation on "Toxic Organisms" by the staff of the Public Institution.
The Winter Camp of the Scout Club Javor concluded with an evaluation of the participants' acquired knowledge.
