At the Visitor center the Drava Story, on November 21 and 22, 2024, as part of the activities within the project “Pink Villains,” two educational workshops were held for students of Davorin Trstenjak Primary School from Čađavica and Noskovci, accompanied by their teachers and the school principal, Ksenija Žunec.

After the introductory remarks by the Director of the Public Institution for the Management of Protected Parts of Nature and the Ecological Network of Virovitica Podravina County, Tatjana Arnold Sabo, Nature Ranger I, Karlo Fičko, gave a presentation on Invasive Alien Species, educating the students about the importance of controlling and preventing the spread of such species. Portable holograms displaying various invasive alien species were also presented to the students.

At the end of the workshops, the participants completed worksheets to assess their knowledge.
